14. Richmond Spiders (16-3, 6-3 in Atlantic 10)

The team is still adjusting without their leading scorer Blake Francis, understandably losing to both Dayton and VCU. But what Richmond has done is win the games they’re supposed to, recently taking care of George Washington. Grant Golden had 20 points to lead all scorers in that matchup.

The Spiders will have to win on the road this upcoming week, facing both Fordham and La Salle. The good news though is that Francis is reportedly set to return this weekend, meaning that the high-powered Spiders will be back to full-strength. The rest of the A-10 will have to take heed of Richmond the rest of the way if he can get back to what he was before the injury.

13. UNC Greensboro Spartans (18-6, 8-3 in SoCon)

Unfortunately for the Spartans, East Tennessee State had their number this season, winning last week to get the season sweep. That essentially puts them two games behind in the SoCon standings with a few weeks to go. They rebounded with a 20+ point win over The Citadel and has an easy schedule the rest of the regular season, with games against Wofford and Furman both at home.

UNC-Greensboro will have to hope that a round-robin worth of losses occurs among the rest of the SoCon top teams to get back on top of the standings. But the Spartans will have to run the table for any of that to matter.
