Rhode Island suffered a road loss to Dayton during this week but that shouldn’t take away from what has been an excellent season. Losing to the Flyers on the road is something that most teams in the country would do this season and Rhody’s resume doesn’t change much as a result. The Rams still boast strong metrics across the board, very few losses, and a couple of strong wins. Rhode Island is firmly in the at-large conversation considering its play to this point and continued strong performances in the A10 season would put them safely in the field next month.

Speaking of teams that have caught fire as of late, Arizona State has crawled all the way into my projected field. The Sun Devils appeared to be toast a few weeks ago but have rattled off four straight wins to move onto the right side of the cutline. This team appears to be finding its stride at the right time while everyone else on the bubble seems to be dropping games. This is the perfect time to make a move and that’s exactly what Arizona State is doing. Massive props to the Sun Devils for their current run.
