Here’s what the Pac-12 bracketology looks like

The ultimate question is, what does all of this mean for the Pac-12 when it comes to the NCAA Tournament? Currently, our very own Busting Brackets bracketologist Lukas Harkins has six members of the conference in the field.

The top teams from the conference are the Oregon Ducks who are the No. 5 seed in the West region. The Ducks sit at 19-6 and are currently fighting for the top seed in the Pac-12 tournament and a regular-season title. Current conference co-leader Colorado is projected as the No. 5 seed in the South Region, the Buffaloes have been the conference’s most consistent team and by the time Selection Sunday rolls around, Tad Boyle’s squad could very well be the highest-rated Pac-12 team in the field. Joining Colorado in the South are the Arizona State Sun Devils who find themselves as the 11 seed in the region.

In the Midwest Region is the No. 10 seeded USC Trojans who return to the tournament once again under Andy Enfield, and joining them in the Midwest is the No. 11 seeded Stanford Cardinal who would head to the First Four as one of the last teams in the field.

According to Busting Brackets, the most-improved team in the conference, the Arizona Wildcats, return to the NCAA Tournament under Sean Miller and a trio of freshmen, Nico Mannion, Josh Green, and Zeke Nnaji as the No. 6 seed in the South Region where they are projected to face the last team in the field from the conference, the No. 11 seeded Stanford Cardinal.

There is no doubt that the Pac-12 is improved on the whole, but with four weeks until the brackets are revealed, it is anybody’s guess how this muddled mess will shake out.
