1. Kansas Jayhawks (26-3, 15-1)

The Kansas Jayhawks again find themselves at the top of the Power Rankings, knocking off Baylor last weekend and extending their two-month-long winning streak.

This Kansas team looks primed to win yet another Big 12 regular-season championship after last season’s slip up, something that was not as unexpected despite last season’s failures.

Udoka Azubuike and Devon Dotson are easily the best 1-2 punch in the country, as the Jayhawks look to be the favorite to win the NCAA Tournament.

The conference tournament comes first, however, and the Jayhawks will have their work cut out for them as the number one seed barring a disaster in the last week of regular season play.

Bill Self has done an excellent job with this group, but he knows as well as anyone that the real season begins in March.
