Key Players

Terry Taylor | Austin Peay | 21.4 points, 10.8 rebounds, 1.4 blocks

What a season for Taylor. He and his partner in crime, Jordyn Adams, have the Govs on the brink of the top two in the conference. Taylor leads the league in both scoring and rebounding, has 18 double-digit scoring games, five 30-point outings, 16 double-doubles, and was either one rebound or one point short of a double-double six times. If APSU are going to win the tournament, Taylor will need to continue putting up monster numbers.

Tevin Brown | Murray State | 17.7 points, 4.6 rebounds, 3.6 assists

With Ja Morant and secondary star Shaq Buchanan gone to the G League, the Racers had some huge shoes to fill, and Tevin Brown has done an admiral job filling them. If Taylor had not have been so productive, Brown could have been the OVC Player of the Year. He does it all for the Racers.

Jomaru Brown | Eastern Kentucky | 18.8 points, 3.8 rebounds, 1.9 steals

Brown has been one of the most underrated players in the OVC this season. He is the second-highest scorer of anyone that qualified for the tournament (behind Taylor) and is one of the top perimeter defenders in the league.

Grayson Murphy | Belmont | 9.8 points, 7.5 rebounds, 6.3 assists, 2.7 steals

Murphy may not score as much as his counterparts Nick Muszynski or Adam Kunkel. He doesn’t even score in double-figures (although he is barely under that threshold). But he brings so much to the table. He leads the conference in assists and steals per game and fills up the stat sheet across the board.
