25. UCLA Bruins (2 commits)

Average Class Ranking: 26.5

UCLA got off to a bit of a slow start in Year 1 under head coach Mick Cronin but really started to pick its level of play over the final month of the season. In fact, the Bruins made a serious late-season push for a potential NCAA Tournament bid (we were never able to see if they would have actually received one). It was an impressive run down the stretch of the year and that sets up well for the coming campaigns under Coach Cronin.

The Bruins also already have two superb commits in the 2020 class that could lead the way for the next era of the program. Daishen Nix, a five-star point guard out of Sin City, is the definite headliner of the group and he will be extremely fun to watch. He stands at 6-foot-5 and is ranked at No. 15/13 in the class thanks to his extremely well-rounded game. Nix is a terrific passer, strong finisher, and makes an impact on the defensive end as well. He could easily be a one-and-done in Westwood.

Jaylen Clark, an in-state 6-foot-5 shooting guard, is the other piece of this class and he is regarded as a fringe Top 100 prospect. Clark will likely spend multiple years with the program and should be an excellent fit with Coach Cronin. He is already impressively well-built and can defend at a very high level with his physicality and versatility. He is also a strong slasher that can finisher at the rim quite well.
