Scottie Barnes (Florida State)

SF | 6-foot-8 | 210 lbs | No. 6 overall recruit

There might not be a single player in the 2020 class that plays with a better motor than Scottie Barnes. A tremendous competitor when on the court, Barnes is seemingly always giving everything for his team. It also helps that he is supremely talented and fits the modern game very well as a versatile wing with plenty of size at 6-foot-8. He is a remarkable all-around athlete and will no doubt be an exceptional fit in Tallahassee when he takes the court for Florida State.

The Seminoles have been very successful over the past few years as head coach Leonard Hamilton has consistently put together rosters filled with size, length, and athleticism capable of disrupting opponents on both ends. Barnes fits that mold as well as he can defend 1-through-5 when on the court while also being able to create offense for others as a playmaker. He is also one of the best finishers at the rim in the class.

Ziaire Williams (Undecided)

SF | 6-foot-7 | 175 lbs | No. 5 overall recruit

Ziaire Williams is perhaps the most intriguing prospect in the entire country at this moment. He is ranked as the No. 5 player in the 2020 recruiting class and there does not appear to be a clear-cut favorite to land his commitment. Williams is still undecided at this moment and will be a difference-making freshman wherever he chooses to play. He announced his final six in early February with Arizona, Stanford, North Carolina, USC, UCLA, and Oregon making the cut.

As a player, Williams is a dynamic scoring threat as a 6-foot-7 combo forward. He can break his defenders down off the dribble quite well and is a strong shooter from beyond the arc. Williams is a dangerous catch-and-shoot threat from 3-point range but he can also attack closeouts to finish at the rim or bury pull-ups from the mid-range territory. He still needs to add some muscle to his frame but is quite polished as an offensive talent.
