Arizona State Sun Devils

Speaking of available scholarships, the Sun Devils have a ton of room after four players entered the transfer portal. And all of the current upperclassmen will be gone by 2021-22, creating a huge need for additional guards. Muhammad would be a potential replacement for Alonzo Verge Jr., another shooting guard who averaged nearly 15 ppg this past year.

Guards have fared well offensively for Arizona State under Bobby Hurley, including Luguentz Dort, Tra Holder and Shannon Evans in recent seasons. Without a clear point guard leading the way at the moment, Muhammad could have a featured role with the Sun Devils.

Georgia Bulldogs

Say what you want about Tom Crean on the sidelines but he’s shown that he can recruit. He landed the top-3 overall prospect Anthony Edwards, along with other multiple top-100 prospects. The 2020 class is looking strong as well, with top-100 point guard KD Johnson coming, along with JUCO prospects Mikal Starks and Jonathan Ned. Expect the 2021 class, which Muhammad would be part of, to also have good talent.

That being said, there’s no real identity to what the Bulldogs have done so far, outside of allowing their best players (Edwards and the big men) to have the ball and operate. Overall, the other guards just haven’t been impressive since Crean took over the job. Would Muhammad have the confidence that his game would get better at Georgia?
