10. Lamar Stevens (Penn State)

Career stats: 16.3 ppg 6.5 rpg 1.3 apg

Few players were as negatively affected by the cancelation of the postseason as Stevens, who was just seven points shy (2,207) of breaking Penn State’s all-time scoring record. The elite power forward spent four years as a double-digit starter helping the team win the 2018 NIT Tournament and was one path to make the NCAA Tournament for the first time in a decade. If it wasn’t for Iowa’s Luka Garza, Stevens would’ve been the best big man in the Big Ten and likely the Player of the Year.

9. Mamadi Diakite (Virginia)

Career stats: 7.4 ppg 4.1 rpg 1.2 bpg

Diakite had a very good senior season, leading the team with 13.7 ppg and 6.8 rpg and playing the usual great defense inside. But the real reason why the forward made it this high on the list is that he’s a national champion starter on the 2019 Virginia squad. He’s most famous for hitting the game-tying shot against Purdue in the Elite 8 to take it into overtime. The rest, as well as Diakite’s legacy, is history.
