6. Keyontae Johnson (Florida)

Johnson had a major improvement from his freshman to sophomore year. Johnson averaged eight points his freshman year and that bumped to 14 points his sophomore year, his free throw percentage went up from 64 to 76% and his field goal percentage went from 47 to 54%. Johnson is also an excellent defensive rebounder despite being listed 6’5” and averaged seven rebounds a game this year. Johnson is a do it all offensive threat in general. He is a very good scorer at the basket and can shoot outside too. Johnson shot 60% inside the arc this year and showcased his three-point shot, shooting 38% from three-point range.

Johnson was already on this year’s first-team All-SEC team and was the leading scorer on the Gators on a team that featured Kerry Blackshear Jr. And with Blackshear gone, Johnson will be the featured player in Florida’s offense. Johnson is expected to make another big jump and he has all the tools. He will look to lead a Florida team that struggled last season and try to lead them back to the NCAA Tournament.
