2019 – Ja Morant, 12 Murray State vs 5 Marquette, 1st Round

Maybe the finest hour on this entire list, Morant announced his stardom to the general public in this king-making performance – a 17-point, 11-rebound, 16-assist, high-flying coronation. It was beautiful and secured his spot as the number two pick in the draft. He would’ve been number one had it not been for…

2019 – Zion Williamson, 1 Duke vs 9 UCF, 2nd Round

…one of the most unbelievable college basketball talents ever. Zion had his best tournament game in the absolute thriller vs UCF: 32 points on 12-24 shooting, 11 rebounds, four assists, and one steal. Also, shoutout to UCF’s Aubrey Dawkins for matching Zion’s 32 points.

2019 – Jarrett Culver, 3 Texas Tech vs 14 Northern Kentucky, 1st Round

Culver put on a clinic in Texas Tech’s first-round matchup: 29 points on 10-17 shooting, eight rebounds, seven assists, one steal, one block, and strong defense.

2019 – Jared Harper, 5 Auburn vs 2 Kentucky, Elite Eight (Also PJ)

The 2019 Elite Eight was truly elite, with four near-classic games. This one was the best, and Jared Harper (26-4-5-3-2) did a little bit of everything to win his duel with PJ Washington (28 and 13 with two steals and two blocks off the bench) and send the Tigers to their first Final Four.

2019 – Carsen Edwards, 3 Purdue vs 6 Villanova, 2nd Round

Edwards was absolutely unstoppable during the 2019 tournament. He dropped 42 (12-21 from the field, 9-16 from three, 9-9 from the line) to eliminate the defending champs (and winners of two of the last three titles) in blowout fashion. He went for 42 again in an Elite Eight overtime loss to eventual champions Virginia.
