13. Georgia Bulldogs

2019-20 season: 16-16 (5-13 SEC)

Out the door: Anthony Edwards, Jordan Harris, Tyree Crump

Key returners: Sahvir Wheeler

Wait and see: Rayshaun Hammonds

Top newcomers: Mikal Starks (juco), Jonathan Ned (juco), KD Johnson (4-star #87), Josh Taylor (4-star #117)

With a future number one draft pick in Anthony Edwards last season, Georgia was only able to muster a .500 record and a 5-13 mark in the SEC. They had their moments, such as their wins at Memphis and over Auburn, but never found consistency and put it all together. With Edwards off to greener pastures, and key contributors Jordan Harris and Tyree Crump graduating, it may be tough sledding again in Athens next season.

Tom Crean will keep his fingers crossed that rising forward Rayshaun Hammonds returns for his senior season. After a junior campaign where he averaged 12.9 points and 7.4 rebounds per game, he would be the focal point of the offense and a solid building block for the rest of the rotation.

Aside from Hammonds, the Bulldogs will return talented youngster Sahvir Wheeler and hope for increased production from the likes of Toumani Camara and former top-100 prospects in Christian Brown and Jakwon Walton. They will also need significant contributions from their newcomers.

Georgia welcomes a pair of junior college prospects in Mikal Starks and Jonathan Ned whose experience they will need to rely on right away. They will also hope for immediate impact from a pair of 4-star signees in KD Johnson and Josh Taylor.

The Bulldogs do still have a pair of scholarships open and could change their outlook a bit if they were able to lure in a couple of impact pieces via the transfer portal.
