Moussa Diabate and Franck Kepnang

Moussa Diabate

Diabate is a French national who spent the past season at IMG Academy. The consensus five-star, top 20 recruit currently holds 16 offers. The following is Meyer’s scouting report on the 6-10 post player:

” Long arms at 6-9. Energetic athlete who plays with aggression and a competitive edge. Thrives on contact and has an unorthodox style that is physically intimidating. High-level rebounder who goes out of his area to pursue the ball. Very limited shooting range. Not uncomfortable with the ball but not a playmaker. A versatile and adept defender. Quality shot blocker. Has great potential as a high energy defender, rebounder type.”

Franck Kepnang

The Wildcats have not offered Kepnang, who holds 20 scholarship overtures overall, yet but they have been interested in the 6-11 big man since watching him at the Slam to the Beach. Kepnang is a consensus top 35 player, and the following is what Meyer said about the Norristown (PA) product.

"“Tremendous build and length. Mobile big man who plays with energy and high motor. Quite limited offensive player. Primarily just a dunker. Aggressive rebounder but modest rebounding numbers. Blocking shots is his niche. Has a NBA body but must drastically improve skill-wise on offense to play at that level.”"
