San Diego State Aztecs

The frontcourt depth for San Diego State has taken a hit, with the graduation of Yanni Wetzell and Joel Mensah transferring out. That basically leaves Nathan Mensah, who played in just 13 games this past season after dealing with health issues. The opportunity for major minutes for Anselem is there compared to some of the other teams on this list and he can excel in the Mountain West.
The one concern would be whether the junior Mensah and Anselem will fit on the court together.

Wetzell could player the power forward position better than the recruit in question, or they could end up splitting minutes at the five-spot while Matt Mitchell players the undersized four. Head coach Brian Dutcher deserves the benefit of the doubt in making it work if Anselem does pick the Aztecs at the end of the day.

Seton Hall Pirates

While potential guards looked at Myles Powell last season for the Pirates, potential big men such as Anselem had to have focused on Romaro Gill. The 7’2 senior big man looked to be an afterthought for Seton Hall this past season but instead became the Big East Defensive Player of the Year and a huge impactful asset.

With Gill gone and potentially Sandro Mamukelashvili staying in the NBA Draft, that leaves Ike Obiagu at the center position. The former Florida State center may not be able to play more than 20 mpg so Anselem would at minimum, be a needed frontcourt addition for depth. And in a few seasons could develop into an NBA player under Coach Kevin Williard.
