Arkansas Razorbacks

The only SEC team that hovers the portal more than Alabama is Arkansas, who already landed a pair of grad transfers (Vance Jackson and Jalen Tate) for next season. They should be a top-25 program in 2020-21 but will need to keep adding talent going forward. There’s a very good chance that elite scorer Isaiah Joe will be gone by next season at the latest, leaving transfer JD Notae, Desi Stills incoming top-50 guard prospect Moses Moody.

Considering that the Hogs started a four-guard lineup last season, Sibande will find himself as a starter when eligible if he’s good enough. His rebounding ability can allow him to play the small forward position if it comes to that. Like Alabama though, it’s a risk to be a sit-out transfer when the coach is always willing to bring in others each offseason that could impact potential minutes. And from my viewpoint, I’m not sure how any of the current sit-out transfers will find a spot in the rotation, which could be a warning for future players.

Georgetown Hoyas

There’s no team in more need of shooting guard help for the 2021-22 season than the Hoyas, who currently have just three-star commit Kobe Clark and Mac McClung projected to be on the roster. And there’s a real possibility that McClung won’t even be around for much longer with the Hoyas.

Compared to the first two SEC programs on the list, Sibande won’t have any issues finding playing time, as he may end up being the most talented player on that roster if the coaching staff can’t get more commitments. They need to land at least one to help offset the growing concerns about the program, making this a potentially nice one-year partnership for both sides.
