3. Tyrell Terry, 6″2 Guard- Stanford

This could be a stretch, as I have seen on many mock drafts, Tyrell Terry is a late 1st round pick. But he fits perfectly for what Atlanta needs. Terry is an excellent three-point shooter and with his quick high release, it makes it very hard for the opposition to defend. Terry’s ability to get to the basket and finish is outstanding. He is great at drawing fouls at the basket, has excellent body control, and has a nice touch around the rim which allows him to make difficult shots.

Terry could even come play at shooting guard with Trae Young. As he has excellent off-ball movement which allows him to get a lot of open threes. He is a capable defender and will battle against bigger players which is a must at his smaller frame.

Some comparisons to Terry have been CJ McCollum and Jason Terry. And if Terry could turn close to any of those guys the east could be in trouble. As Young already plays similar to Damian Lillard and if Trae can get a guy that plays like McCollum it would be a perfect fit. As Atlanta is in need for a backcourt partner that can create his own shot. And even if Atlanta decides to stick with Kevin Huerter, Terry can come off the bench and create his own shot. Which, is a desperate need right now in Atlanta.
