Arizona State Sun Devils

After unexpectedly losing big man Romello White to the transfer portal after coming back from the NBA Draft, Arizona State can’t be caught slipping again. They have another situation with leading scorer and passer Remy Martin still in the process. If he leaves, the team won’t have a point guard for next year, with Portland State transfer Holland Woods sitting out next season per rules.

McClung would fit well with the Sun Devils and their top-scoring offense in the Pac-12. He and rising senior guard Alonzo Verge Jr. would play off of each other well, along with him and Woods in the following season. This would only be in case of Martin not being around so the timing can be tricky in this potential fit.

Auburn Tigers

With the graduation of leading scorers J’Von McCormick and Samir Doughtry, the Tigers are relying on a very cast of newcomer guards for next season. One of them is five-star point guard Sharife Cooper who is more than capable of handling his own. But there’s not much depth behind Cooper and they’ve been unable to land an experienced playmaker this offseason.

McClung and Cooper could be a solid combo and the offense of Auburn would be a great system for the Hoyas transfer. He’d start and have big minutes in the SEC and potentially put up big numbers for the next two years.
