Why should you know about Stanley?

Many would say that Stanley already had his breakout as he went from a very pedestrian four points per game his redshirt freshman season to over 20 points per game last year. The junior forward is coming off a season in which he averaged 22 points per game. He did so incredibly efficient as well. He was able to make almost 60% of his shots last year.

The forward took 514 shots last year and played most of the minutes averaging almost 35 per game. So how can he be ready for a break out this year. His breakout is coming in the way of becoming a national name. If he puts up numbers like what he did last year it will not take long for the national media and the casual basketball fan to know who he is. His former teammate Jermaine Marrow was talked about nationally all the time as one of the premier guards in the country. Stanley is going to get his this year, so in regards to a breakout it is because he has the ability to be the most talked-about player in the Big South Conference this year.

Stanley is going to be the player in the conference who is going to jump out at you. He is extremely skilled around the basket and to go with his offensive game is the fact he is a great rebounder and good rim protector. The junior averaged about eight rebounds a game to go along with just over one block per game. Stanley gets buckets and with him being the focal point of the offense expect him to be near the top of the country in offensive ranks again. Hampton is in good hands with Stanley leading their offense again.
