Stanford Cardinal

Although the Cardinal wasn’t expecting freshman Tyrell Terry to be gone after one season, they managed to find an even better replacement in five-star guard Ziaire Williams. The Sierra Canyon star will only be around for one season at the wing spot, with leading scorer Oscar Da Silva and leading passer Daejon Davis only around for one more year as well.

Stanford does have Bryce Wills and incoming three-star guard Noah Taitz on the roster, as well as class of 2021 recruit Isael Silva on board. But they’ll need some big names in the following group of freshmen to replace a large amount of production set to leave, giving Love a chance for a big role on day 1. The education aspect of the Cardinal could boost their hopes for this prospect as well, as long as he’s willing to go out west.

Texas Longhorns

Along with the massive pickup of five-star forward Greg Brown, the Longhorns return everyone from the 19-win team this past season. That includes leading guards Courtney Ramey, Andrew Jones and Jase Febres. A big season from Texas could keep head coach Shaka Smart’s job for another year, otherwise, his firing would essentially take Love out of the equation.

Assuming things do go well, the Longhorns will have a ton of roster turnover, via graduations or transfer departures. With the team’s leading scorer from the past several years not scoring more than 14 ppg, there will be a major need for someone to come in and produce on the offensive level. Love fits that description and would be a nice pickup and can play that needed scoring role.
