BYU Cougars

BYU has been extremely active in the transfer portal this spring and has already secured Purdue graduate transfer Matt Haarms for this next season. The Cougars were senior-heavy this past season but that shouldn’t stop them from having another good season.

Mark Pope will be entering his second season with BYU and got an endorsement from NBA All-Star Donovan Mitchell when he tweeted at McClung trying to convince him to come out to Provo. BYU has some of the best fans in the country and he’d be playing in front of a packed house for every game.

McClung would be able to play that point guard position at BYU he cited he was looking to do more of. BYU was one of the top three-point shooting teams in the country this past season, McClung will be looking to improve his three-point percentage of 29.5% in his first two seasons.

The Cougars would be a great landing spot for McClung, he’d have a chance to sit out and be a star on the team down the line. BYU would definitely make him feel at home which he cited as being important and the Cougars appear to have a high winning outlook for the future. I could see McClung thriving with BYU.
