Arkansas Razorbacks

It’s not the most realistic option to have an inter-conference transfer but you know Eric Musselman of Arkansas doesn’t care, as he’s been involved with literally every top transfer this offseason. Of course, 80% of those efforts didn’t make much sense, with the Hogs simply being “listed” but not being a true option.

Nembhard though would make great sense. Arkansas starting point guard for next season will be either Northern Kentucky grad transfer Jalen Tate or top-60 incoming freshman KK Robinson. Nembhard could be an ideal starting option for the year and provide great defense and passing while operating in an offense that lets guards score a ton. He might not average 22 ppg as Mason Jones did last season but the former Gator would see his own numbers boosted. Either way, expect the Hogs to make contact with him.

Creighton Bluejays

If playing in a different offensive system is of big importance, the Bluejays have a compelling case to make. They had three guards this past season put up career numbers and with Mitchell Ballock graduating and Marcus Zegarowski likely gone after next year, could use another point guard ready in place for 2021-22.

Creighton did land four-star point guard Rati Andronikashvili but he can play off-ball in order to make this work. And with Duke transfer Alex O’Connell already set to sit out this upcoming season, Nembhard could average 5-6 apg just by passing it out to the wings for three-pointers. This is a system Nembhard could thrive in under head coach Greg McDermott.
