NCAA Basketball Recruiting: Analyzing 2021 4-Star G Jalen Warley 10 teams

NCAA Basketball option for Jaylen Warley – LSU Tigers
Will Wade has constructed the LSU roster to compete year in and year out. He has been very successful on the recruiting trail and this summer was no different. The additions of Georgetown wing Josh Leblanc, freshman Cam Thomas, and wing Mwani Wilkinson restore the Tigers with a lethal mix of experience, scoring talent, and defensive grit.
While it’s highly unlikely that Thomas is around for a second year on the team, Leblanc and Wilkinson give Warley a lot of talent to work with on the wings. Fellow guards Eric Gaines and Jalen Cook are not nearly as well rounded as Warley is and will likely concede minutes and ball-handling responsibilities should he sign with the program.
Despite the on-court talent expected to be on the roster, the Tigers have not been a team that shares the ball well nor creates turnovers on defense. Warley will aide in both of these areas and will make for a potent defensive tandem with Josh Leblanc. This team could be incredibly competitive on the glass and would look to score the ball inside given their poor perimeter track record.
