Saint Louis Billikens

Similar to the 2019-20 seasons of San Diego State and the University of Dayton, the Billikens may be headed for the best season in their program’s history in 2020-21.

Loaded from top-to-bottom with returning talent, Saint Louis will contend in a crowded Atlantic-10. And with the right improvements from their returners, they could snag a conference championship and a high seed to the NCAA Tournament this March.

Headlined by the presumptive A-10 Preseason Player of the Year in senior guard Jordan Goodwin. The Billikens return a player who averaged 15.1 points per game over 31 contests last season and snagged an outrageous 10.1 rebounds per game as well.

Alongside Goodwin is a cache of other veterans coming off strong 2019-20 seasons. This includes sophomore point guard Yuri Collins (5.7 ppg, 5.5 apg), sharpshooting senior wing Javonte Perkins (15.0 ppg, 44.3 FG%), and senior forward Hasahn French (12.4 ppg, 10.4 rpg).

Winners of their last five games last season and showcasing their best basketball leading into the A-10 tournament, the Billikens and Head Coach Travis Ford will be ready to build off of last year’s 23 win campaign and return to the NCAA Tournament, a place they haven’t been since three consecutive appearances in 2012-14.
