4. Alabama Crimson Tide

All of the teams on this list outside the state of Texas, the Crimson Tide, in my opinion, represents the best situation for Collins to potentially succeed. When it comes to the frontcourt, this team is pretty loaded, boosted by the addition of Yale grad transfer forward Jordan Bruner, along with the duo return of John Petty and Herb Jones. Alex Reese is back for his senior season, and incoming four-star forward Keon Ambrose-Hylton will provide some depth as well.

But outside of Ambrose-Hylton, the others will have graduated, making the center position a real need. From a style standpoint, this would be a near-perfect fit. Alabama was one of the best scoring offenses in the country but struggled mightily on the defensive end and rebounding. On offense, Collins would thrive on the fastbreak of Coach Nate Oats’ high-octane offense, while adding a much-needed shot-blocking presence on the other end.

With quality guards already around, incoming Villanova transfer Jahvon Quinerly, Jaden Shackelford, and incoming four-star combo guard Josh Primo, the Crimson Tide will be set on the perimeter. They just need a top-tier big man in order to truly make a run in the SEC. If Collins were to commit to the Tide, don’t be surprised if he is one of multiple top-30 players to join the program in the near future.
