Oregon Ducks

The Ducks have found themselves on a lot of top transfers final lists this offseason so I guess it’s not that big of a surprise the Ben Stanley included them. Dana Altman is an excellent recruiter.

With the departure of CJ Walker, the Ducks could use a guy like Stanley, the former five-star Walker elected to transfer a few weeks ago was expected to play a big role for Oregon this season. Ben Stanley would be able to step in and make an immediate impact.

It’ll be a bit of a new look Ducks team for next season with the departure of their leading scorer and All-American Payton Pritchard. The Ducks will be looking for new sources of offense and Stanley could definitely help with that. Stanley would provide a solid two-way addition that would fit in well with the small ball lineups that Altman liked to put out on the floor last season.

The Ducks are always big in the transfer and JUCO markets, Dana Altman developing players and Nike offer Oregon huge advantages for recruiting. The Ducks probably aren’t the favorites to land  Stanley but the mutual interest and the fit would make sense if Stanley did elect to head to Eugene.
