15. Devan Cambridge – Auburn Tigers

2019-20 stats: 4.2 ppg and 2.3 rpg

The 6’6 guard was literally a non-factor in 1/3 of the games last season, scoring exactly zero points in a number of contests. But with the entire starting lineup gone, the roster is going to be filled with underclassmen, giving Cambridge a shot to be a leader. There were two games that showed a glimpse of his potential, going for 26 against South Carolina and 21 versus LSU, making a combined 13 three-pointers in those two games. We’ll see if he can continue that production with more playing time.

14. Marcus Sasser – Houston Cougars

2019-20 stats: 8.1 ppg and 2.4 rpg

While it may take another season to see a big spike in scoring production, Sasser has already shown the potential to be a leading scoring option. He had eight games of at least 14 points, including a season-high 26 against SMU. When Sasser gets hot from three-point range, Houston is hard to beat. Returning leading scorer Caleb Mills already has press but look for Sasser to be the other star sophomore for the Cougars.

13. Seth Lundy – Penn State Nittany Lions

2019-20 stats: 5.3 ppg and 2.7 rpg

With both Lamar Stevens and Mike Watkins out of the picture, the Nittany Lions will need more than Myreon Jones, who broke as a sophomore in his own right, in terms of overall production. The former priority recruit was inserted into the lineup towards the end of the season, including a season-high 19 points versus Iowa. His 39% shooting from three-point range is a great sign of Lundy’s overall ceiling.
