Georgetown Hoyas

Ewing needs all the playmakers and depth he can muster with the Hoyas program. After last season’s mid-season roster attrition, Georgetown could suffer more depth issues in 2020. Reliance on senior guards Jahvon Blair and Jalen Harris to carry the offensive load this season should be expected, but the backcourt will be very empty in 2021.

Adding a guard of Riley’s talents could be significant for the Hoyas. His versatility in the guard spot would be vital to a team-low on bodies to put on the court. The returning players projected to be on the 2021 roster are not proven commodities for Ewing to rely on, underlying the importance to add a player capable of producing his own shot and creating for others.

Georgetown does not appear to be the primary option for a majority of their chosen recruits at this time. Riley would be handed the keys to the program once he stepped foot on campus, with every opportunity to develop and receive optimal minutes on the floor.
