G, TJ Weeks – UMass

TJ Weeks is UMass’ breakout candidate for the 2020-21 season. Weeks will be going into his sophomore season at Massachusetts. After coming off the bench in an impressive freshman year, Weeks should provide an exciting performance this upcoming season.

Prior to UMass,  spent the first two years of high school at Pilgrim. He guided the Hawks to back-to-back state championships, averaging 17 points and 7 rebounds per game as a junior. Weeks was named to the Providence Journal All-State First-Team as a senior at Bishop Hendricken Catholic.  Weeks also played prep hoop with fellow UMass signees Tre Mitchell and Preston Santos. Weeks also spent a prep year at Woodstock Academy in Connecticut where he climbed to No. 2 in the national rankings.

At UMass, Weeks appeared in ten games and started in two of those games where he averaged 26 minutes, 14.7 points, and shot 42.2 percent from the field.

TJ Weeks was a part of a talented class of incoming players including stars such as Tre Mitchell, Sean East, and Preston Santos. This class has already begun producing for Matt McCall and the Minuteman. Weeks will continue to improve his game and help lead UMass this season.
