G, Rahmir Moore – Saint Joe’s

Rahmir Moore is Saint Joe’s breakout candidate for the 2020-21 season. Moore will be going into his sophomore season and second season with the Hawks. Moore will be looking towards getting more opportunities to perform at the highest level for a program that has struggled significantly and finished 2-16 last season.

Prior to Saint Joe’s, Moore began his high school career at Mastery Charter before spending his senior year at Rise Prep in Ontario, Canada. Moore’s sister, Ayahna Cornish was a standout for the Saint Joe’s women’s basketball team. Ayahna is also married to Toronto Raptor All-Star Kyle Lowry. Moore’s brother, Ramone, played for the Temple University Owls. Moore brings a high basketball IQ to the Hawks with a family full of basketball experience.

Last season, started in 13 of the 30 contests he played in for the Hawks. The Philadelphia Native averaged 7.0 points and 27.1 minutes. Moore shot 38.0 percent from the field. Moore also put up 22 points in a win over the UCONN Huskies in non-conference play.
