Terrell Gomez – 400 career three-pointers made

If coming off their best season in school history was not enough and you are not a fan of comebacks then Terrel Gomez will give yet another reason to pay attention and cheer during a San Diego State game. As one of the notable transfers who are immediately eligible, Gomez is going to bring a whole lot of range to the team that had the second-highest percentage from deep in the Mountain West Conference at over 38 percent.

The 5’8 guard has an opportunity to not only reach a personal milestone in his new conference but to etch his name into the record books as well. As a sophomore at Cal State Northridge Gomez connected on 117 shots from beyond the arc, then followed that up with 111 as a senior. Once you add up his freshman year, Gomez is 107 made threes from 400, a feat only accomplished by 11 other payers since the three-point line was universally implemented in 1986.

On his way to 400, Gomez will also have an outside chance at becoming the single-season three-point record holder in the Mountain West. Gomez would need his best season, but 127 in the Mountain West Conference is more realistic than the 153 he would need to be the Big West single-season record holder.
