Here’s a look at the next 15 players on my board

31. Grant Riller (Charleston)

32. Tyler Bey (Colorado)

33. Desmond Bane (TCU)

34. Precious Achiuwa (Memphis)

35.. Elijah Hughes (Syracuse)

36. Jahmi’us Ramsey (Texas Tech)

37. Jalen Smith (Maryland)

38. Cassius Stanley (Duke)

39. Jared Butler (Baylor)

40.  Killian Tillie (Gonzaga)

41. Cassius Winston (Michigan State)

42. Corey Kispert (Gonzaga)

43. Robert Woodard (Mississippi State)

44. Paul Eboua (Pesaro)

45. Ayo Dosunmu (Illinois)

While this draft lacks elite talent at the top, I think there are some really quality role players in the second round, who specialize in a variety of skills. Tyler Bey was the Pac-12 Defensive Player of the Year. While Desmond Bane, Killian Tillie, and Cassius Winston are three of the best shooters in the draft.

I’m a bit lower on Jahmi’us Ramsey, Precious Achiuwa, and Jalen Smith than most draft experts who have those players in the first round. Ramsey showed he could shoot, but I worry about his ancillary skills.

Achiuwa plays with a ton of energy and could be good with some development, but really lacks feel for the game that is almost unteachable. Smith can shoot as a big but lacks strength and I am unsure who he guards at the next level.
