Center

Starter – Hunter Dickinson (20 minutes/game)

Others – Austin Davis (20 minutes/game)

Dickinson comes to Michigan with a lot of potential and the ability to play right away. He is a big body and has shown the talent to score down low. He has a great hook shot and a dominant left hand.

He is also a good enough athlete to run the high pick and roll that Michigan has become so good at. All eyes will be on him down low and everything points to him being able to handle the spotlight of starting at center for the Wolverines.

The backup will be Austin Davis who returns as a graduate student after having a breakthrough year in 2019-20. Davis played better than starter Jon Teske at times last year. He averaged just 4.9 points per game last year but didn’t establish himself until about mid-year.

While not a star for the Wolverines he is a solid contributor that will be good off the bench. Davis will be a minute-eater and one that shouldn’t hurt you while on the court. He can guard the big guys of the Big Ten and will give you solid minutes each game.
