25. Dayton Flyers

Last year’s Flyers team was highly regarded, mostly because of the fanfare associated with NBA lottery hopeful Obi Toppin. However, Dayton returns the majority of its disciplined and defensively stout backcourt in 2020.

Led by senior Jalen Crutcher’s 15.1 PPG, there is a strong base for the team to maintain its momentum this fall. Flanked by fellow seniors Ibi Watson and Rodney Chatman, the Flyers have plenty of experience to compete at a high level again in the Atlantic-10.

Toppin’s departure opens up plenty of offensive opportunities for each guard to increase their production, including Dwayne Cohill who will be a key rotational depth piece off the bench. The focus for the upcoming year will center on maintaining the team’s incredible efficiency scoring the ball from all areas of the floor and frankly, their difficulties rebounding the ball will depend on it for a successful season to happen.
