Florida State Seminoles

Biggest need: Power forward

With the current No. 1 recruiting class for 2021, there’s not much else the Seminoles really have to do. They already have five-star wing Matthew Cleveland, guards Jalen Warley and Bryce McGowens, as well as centers John Butler Jr. and Naheem McLeod. The only position they can target now is power forward, under the assumption that point/forward Scottie Barnes will only be around for one season.

A contender for that spot is Michael Foster, a five-star prospect ranked in the top-10 that some have pegged to go straight to the pros. But Florida State literally has nothing to lose with his recruitment and landing him would solidify them having the top overall class for the first time ever.

Georgia Tech Yellow Jackets

Biggest needs: Point guard, shooting guard, and power forward

With a starting lineup filled with upperclassmen, this will be an important upcoming recruiting class for the program. If junior guard Mike Devoe leaves, finding a capable scoring perimeter player is vital. They’re in the running for four-star shooting guard “Deebo” Coleman, as well as three-star combo guards Miles Kelly and Breon Pass.

Finding Moses Wright’s replacement at power forward is also important. And while local star and five-star recruit Jabari Smith may be too big a reach, previously mentioned Kok Yat (who resides in Georgia) isn’t.
