Small forwards

SF 1 – Jericole Hellems

Hellems played a lot for NC State last season playing in 31 games and averaging 25 minutes a game. In those 25 minutes, Hellems averaged nine points, three rebounds, and one assist on 40% shooting.

Hellems should have a much bigger role this season for the Wolfpack as a screener in NC States offense. He can hit the three-ball, shooting it at 33% last season. If Hellems does not have a breakout season, look for Dereon Seabron to start by the end of the season.

SF 2 – Dereon Seabron

Seabron, who redshirted last year for NC State was a three-star recruit and the number six player in Virginia in 2019. Seabron is a highly athletic player at 6″6, who is very fast in the open court. He is a good defender as well, who can defend at multiple positions.

Seabron came into NC State very raw as a high school prospect and is why he redshirted last year. It will be very interesting to see how much Seabron has improved and if he can make a major impact for Kevin Keatts next season.
