Georgia Bulldogs

The Bulldogs have been involved with a number of class of 2021 recruits without any luck so far. The odds aren’t great that they’ll land Green either. But they do have plenty of playing time to offer the forward, with the current frontcourt players on the roster includes Jonathan Ned and Tyron McMillan, a pair of former JUCO players.

There’s a possibility that Georgia could land five-star power forward Michael Foster but there’s talk that he’ll go pro instead. Add the program’s current struggles to get out the bottom of the SEC, it’ll just be hard for them to make a case to be a legit contender in this recruitment.

Gonzaga Bulldogs

The Bulldogs already have plenty of frontcourt players on its roster, including Drew Timme and Anton Watson. The room will get bigger with current top-60 power forward commits Ben Gregg and Kaden Perry, and potentially Chet Holmgren, the No. 1 overall forward prospect in the 2021 recruiting class. They also are after another five-star prospect in Caleb Houstan.

If either commits to Gonzaga, there would simply be no room for Green to realistically find playing time in his freshman season or even beyond. The Bulldogs have become a juggernaut national program so it makes sense for him to consider them. But power forward is the one spot where the team is covered completely at.
