Season Outlook

USC is a really difficult team to make an overall season prediction on. For starters – we have no idea who they are playing in the year 2020.

If they manage to get some competitive games in their non-conference slate, that will help this team gel together and will help freshman phenom Evan Mobley adjust to high-level competition in the NCAA.

If not – Mobley and the rest of USC’s squad will be forced to adjust to the rugged style of the PAC-12 right away, and there could be some problematic growing pains.

Mobley is almost certainly going to be an elite college big man, but for USC to get higher than a six seed this year, they’ll need their team of newcomers to gel rather quickly – and a step forward from point guard Ethan Anderson certainly wouldn’t hurt.
