There is lots of opportunity in the Arkansas lineup

With so many new faces on the roster, only one starting spot is likely to go to a returning player, junior guard Desi Sills made 24 starts last season and was 4th on the team in scoring with 10.6 points per game.

Musselman and the Razorbacks probably thought their backcourt was in good shape when Isiah Joe decided to return, but then he changed his mind again and decided to leave for the NBA. With Joe gone, Sills will not see many familiar faces on the floor with him.

The most likely addition to taking the reigns of the offense is grad transfer Jalen Tate who gives the Hogs some length at the point at 6’6 and averaged 13.9 points, 5.4 rebounds, 3.6 assists and 1.9 steals with Northern Kentucky.

With Joe gone, look for freshman Moses Moody to get a starting spot and the 6’6 star who played for Montverde Academy averaging 11.6 points and 3.3 rebounds while shooting over 60% from the field and knocked down nearly 47% of his three-point attempts.

The two forward spots in the Arkansas lineup should go to graduate transfers, Justin Smith is a 6’7 forward who played at Indiana and Vance Jackson is a big-bodied 6’9 forward who played at New Mexico.

Smith started all 32 games last season and averaged 10.4 points and 5.2 rebounds, and Jackson put up similar numbers for the Lobos with 11.1 points and 5.2 rebounds, but where the two could provide the most help is on the boards, where the team struggled mightily last season, ranking 332nd in the country in rebounds per game with 31.53 and 333rd in offensive rebound percentage at just 21.5%.
