Tyrese Samuel | Forward | 6-foot-10 | Sophomore

The Seton Hall sophomore, Tyrese Samuel, is expected to play a large role for the Pirates in 2020-21. For some games this season, Samuel will likely draw into the starting lineup for Seton Hall. The Seton Hall coaching staff is anticipating a huge jump from Samuel in his sophomore season.

He showed flashes in his freshman year of the potential that Seton Hall fans can expect to see. As a 6-foot-10 forward who can step out and shoot the three at a high rate, Samuel will help to stretch the court for the Pirates.

Shavar Reynolds | Guard | 6-foot-2 | Senior

The 6-foot-2 senior is ready to show the world his defensive prowess in 2020-21. Shavar Reynolds will play a much bigger role this season after averaging just 15.8 minutes per game last season.

Reynolds will continue to bring his defensive tenacity to the court this season, but as one of the team’s backup point guards this year, he will need to hold his own on both sides of the court. After shooting 48% from three-point range last season, Reynolds will look to have success running the offense this season.

Takal Molson | Guard | 6-foot-5 | Junior

After sitting out last season, the Canisius transfer is likely to be a key piece for Seton Hall this season. Takal Molson will bring a gritty edge to the Pirates in 2020-21. Molson played a huge role for Canisius before transferring to Seton Hall, as he was the MAAC Rookie of the Year in 2018.

Described as a ‘junkyard dog’, Molson hopes to bring that success to Seton Hall this season, where he will play a major role in replacing the hole left by Quincy McKnight.

Jahari Long | Guard | 6-foot-5 | Freshman

Expectations were not super high for the Texas native coming into the offseason, but the tune has changed recently. Since joining the Pirates this summer, Jahari Long has made big impressions with his teammates and the Seton Hall coaching staff.

As one of the backup point guards, Long will play some important minutes for Seton Hall this season. Long is expected to bring strong playmaking skills to the court for the Pirates this year and beyond.

Dimingus Stevens | Guard | 6-foot-6 | Freshman

The Washington D.C. product is not expected to play a big role for Seton Hall in the 2020-21 season, but his three-point shooting will definitely help his case to get on the court.

Dimingus Stevens is a great three-point shooter, however, he will need to add some more weight before he is capable of doing much more in the Big East. For now, Stevens will be a nice piece off the bench for Kevin Willard and will add another scoring threat to the Pirates’ rotation.

Jeff Ngandu | Center | 6-foot-9 | Freshman

Currently, Jeff Ngandu is not on campus at Seton Hall. The Seton Hall coaching staff is working on getting Ngandu a visa to join the Pirates this season, as he is currently in Canada. He is not expected to play a major role for the Pirates this year, but the team is hopeful that he will be able to arrive in South Orange at some point during the 2020-21 season.

Tray Jackson | Forward | 6-foot-9 | Sophomore

After transferring to Seton Hall from Missouri, Tray Jackson will sit-out this season for the Pirates this season. Jackson is expected to play a big role for the Pirates in the 2021-22 season.
