Schedule Outlook

The Hoosiers are going to play Big Ten teams this year. They are also going to play Tennessee Tech, Providence, and Florida State. The rest of the schedule is still a big unknown. How many other non-conference games will they play and how many conference games will they decide on?

It’s a big question mark, but no matter what they end up with, the Big Ten is loaded. Illinois, Michigan State, Iowa, and Wisconsin are going to be very good. Rutgers, Michigan, Purdue, and Ohio State should also be solid. There aren’t going to be any off nights in conference play this year.

Playing Providence and Florida State, though, should give the Hoosiers an idea of what team they will have this year. The Fryers were a trendy Final Four pick before the tournament was cancelled and Florida State won the ACC and would have had a bunch of votes to win the whole thing.

They should be great games and ones that will help prepare the Hoosiers for the Big Ten schedule. The Hoosiers will look to improve on their 10th place finish from last year but have shown they can play with anyone in the conference.

The schedule may be unknown but we do know that whatever it ends up being it will be more than enough to allow the Hoosiers to prove their worth. Their resume will be great if they can finish in the top half of the Big Ten.
