NCAA Basketball: Top 30 impact Junior College transfers for 2020-21 season
24. Eden Holt – UT-Martin Skyhawks
Williston State
As a freshman, the 5’10 guard from Houston averaged 18.8 ppg and 4.4 apg, while making 43% of his three-point attempts. Holt reached double figures in his final 22 games of last season and had 30+ points multiple times.
The point guard is one of several JUCO transfers to join the Ohio Valley Conference program, who has been closer to the bottom than the top. The reason why Holt is the one I have my eye on most is that he compliments star senior guard Parker Stewart, who led UT-Martin with 19.2 ppg and 3.8 apg. Holt can take some of the ball-handling responsibility off of Parker and allow him to thrive as a pure shooting guard. That could be the key for the Skyhawks winning more games.
23. Justice Hill – Murray State Racers
Salt Lake Community College
On a team with multiple D-I commits, Hill led Salt Lake this past season with 13.9 ppg and 4.4 apg. It wasn’t the flashy 40-point or 15-assist games the guard was known for but rather being a steady leader and contributor the team could rely on on a nightly basis.
Hill, who played for Arkansas before transferring to the JUCO level, could’ve probably gone back to a power conference program. Instead, he went to Murray State, where he’ll be playing with All-Conference guard Tevin Brown and DaQuan Smith. He’ll most likely come off the bench but there won’t be a talent drop when that happens for the Racers.
22. Isaih Moore – St. John’s Red Storm
Pearl River Community College
The 6’10 power forward originally started out at College of Charleston, playing just nine minutes a night off the bench. He went to Pearl River and blossomed into a star, putting up 15.9 ppg and 9.1 rpg, in just 20 mpg. Moore showed even some signs of expanding his range to the three-point line while being just a problem to defend inside.

The Red Storm has more depth than star power in its frontcourt, including grad transfer Arnaldo Toro and forwards Josh Roberts and Marcellus Earlington. If Moore can show that he’s the best offensive option they have at the center position, don’t be shocked if he can end up as a starter towards the end of the year.
