7. Missouri State Bears

After an unmitigated disaster of a 2019-20 season, the Missouri State Bears enter this year with plenty of question marks.

After compiling a loaded roster built around standouts in Tulio Da Silva, Keandre Cook, and Tyrik Dixon, head coach Dana Ford has his work cut out for him this year after their departures.

Tasked with carrying the load are former JUCO transfer center Gaige Prim and sophomore forward Isaiah Mosley, both of whom have plenty of potential after their first full season in Springfield.

Outside of this duo, however, the rest of the roster is incredibly raw and inexperienced following this offseason departures, and Ford may now feel the effects of going all-in on high-major and grad transfers last season.

The Bears could prove competitive and have the frontline talent to do it, but the smart play is to peg them to sit around .500 and build for the future with their youth.
