Center. Charlotte Hornets. Omer Yurtseven. 56. player. 170.

In his lone year at Georgetown, the 7’0 center produced 15.5 ppg and 9.8 rpg. A great offensive player with little defensive ability, Yurtseven is hoping to have a similar career to Enes Kanter and be instant offense off the bench.

"With a notably high ceiling due to his size and shooting ability, Yurtseven remains a sneaky prospect for several teams to keep an eye on. – Collin Helwig"

Charlotte’s goal in this draft will be to add talent in the frontcourt that can produce offensively. With three picks, don’t be surprised if at least two of them go to a talented big with scoring potential. Yurtseven makes great sense as a low-risk, high-reward prospect.

. Forward. Brooklyn Nets. Lamar Stevens. 55. player. 147

An underrated college star, Stevens averaged double figures in all four seasons, including nearly 20 ppg as a junior. The 6’8 forward is a solid two-way player who can defend and pass as well but will need to improve on his three-point shot to stick around in the NBA.

"There’s a chance his impact on offense can set the tone for the other players and have momentum. If Stevens gets the opportunity to showcase his skill, he will not disappoint his team. – Nick Dormus"

Considering the trade rumors going on, this isn’t a throw-away pick for Brooklyn, as they made need whoever lands here to be part of the 15-man roster. Stevens is a forward that can play with Kevin Durant and would benefit from being the 5th option on the court, different from when he was the clear No. 1 on offense with the Nittany Lions.

Guard. Indiana Pacers. Jay Scrubb. 54. player. 100.

Viewed as the No. 1 JUCO prospect in the 2020 recruiting class, Scrubb was set to join Louisville before opting to enter the NBA Draft instead. The 6’7 guard has great size and shoot the lights out of it but concerns over the jump in competition will likely keep him from being a first-rounder, even if his talent may warrant it.

"The Pacers are in the midst of a culture shift under new head coach Nate Bjorkgren and with rumors of Victor Oladipo getting traded, now would be a good time to swing for the fences at the 2-guard spot. – Michael Walton"

The Pacers are dealing with rumors regarding star guard Victor Oladipo and possibly leaving the franchise. Either way, the team has just one pick and will likely look to add someone who can compete for minutes right away and make Indiana the best they can be to convince the star to stay put. Scrubb can be instant offense off the bench and along with Jeremy Lamb and make the Pacers offensively formidable all 40 minutes.

53. player. 149. . Guard/wing. Oklahoma City Thunder. Josh Hall

After opting not to play in college and instead prepare for the NBA Draft this past year, Hall seems to have impressed scouts in recent combines. At 6’9 and nearly 200 pounds, Hall is a wing with great size and has two-way potential. It’s hard to tell what he’ll do against legit competition in the NBA but look for a team to take a flyer late in the draft in case he’s a gem.

"Hall is going to be a project but, the Thunder gets a low-risk pick here for a guy that could end up being pretty good. – Will Cash"

The OKC Thunder has already done this with another player who snubbed college in Terrance Ferguson, who fought his way into a spot in the rotation this season. Seeing how many veterans are departing as part of a rebuilding process, this may be the best situation for Hall to land in terms of short-term opportunities at playing time.
