Creighton Bluejays

Technically the local option of the group, the Bluejays have been on Sallis maybe longer than any of the other seven contenders. That could be very helpful in this recruitment, along with being able to stay close to home. The program also has been great in terms of developing perimeter players who weren’t five-star prospects out of high school, including junior Marcus Zegarowski, who likely won’t be around after this upcoming season.

Creighton recently landed top-100 point guard Tyty Washington, while also having four-star 2021 commit Ryan Nembhard part of the class already. There’s also Rati Andronikashvili, another four-star player and freshman who’ll miss this upcoming season with an injury. Sallis would be joining those three guards and would likely have to play off the ball more than he would like since those are pure ball-handlers. This would be a fit for Sallis at the disadvantage of the other guards.

Gonzaga Bulldogs

The only program to host Sallis on an official visit, the Bulldogs have the chance to show Sallis what life could be like as a lead guard with Jalen Suggs leading the way. He’s the first five-star player for Gonzaga out of high school and likely is around for just one year.

Sallis could very well come in and be his replacement, although the team does have Florida transfer point guard Andrew Nembhard sitting out this season. But those two could co-exist in the backcourt without many issues. The ability to win at a high level would be a guarantee for the program and the opportunity to potentially play with top-3 overall recruit Chet Holmgren is another appealing part of the Bulldogs.
