Clemson’s Schedule Outlook

Clemson has a tough non-conference schedule this season that opens with Mississippi State in the Space Coast challenge. The Tigers will play mid-major South Carolina State a week later, and then Maryland in the ACC/Big 12 challenge. They will then travel to Atlanta, Georgia to play Alabama in Holiday Hoopsgiving.

Clemson will open ACC play against Virginia Tech on Dec.15th and go back to non-conference to play in-state rival South Carolina. They will then go and finish out non-conference play against Morehead State.

The Tigers then go on a tough stretch of ACC games playing North Carolina, Virginia, Florida State, and Duke all in a four-game stretch. Clemson will have senior night and their ACC finale against Miami on February 27th.

Overall, this is a pretty tough schedule for Clemson, and playing Mississippi State in the season opener will show how good the Tigers are early on in the season. We are also going to see if the Tigers can be an ACC contender, with the tough four-game stretch listed earlier. If Brad Brownell can at least find a way to go 2-2, Clemson should be towards to top of the ACC standings.
