Baylor just simply has too many weapons

The Bears leading scorer tonight came off the bench! Adam Flagler had a game-high tying 18 points along with Illinois’ preseason All American, Ayo Dosunmu.

When game leading scorers are coming off the bench, that’s usually a bad sign for the other team because that makes it very hard to game plan, or well throws your game-planning out the window. Jonathan Tchamwa Tchatchoua and Matthew Mayer also both had fantastic second half’s and really shined on both ends of the floor combined going 16/16/1/2 on the night while ending up on the floor multiple times.

Speaking of ending up on the floor and hustling Mark Vital once again played like one of, if not the, best defensive player in the country. Guarding every position including Illinois’ power duo.

Quite honestly it looked like the entire team couldn’t be stopped in the second half.
