2. Jalen Suggs played himself into a Top 5 pick

The Suggs injury against West Virginia was one, that was hoping to not hamper his future play. With Suggs having his first game back, he showed no signs of slowing down.

The guard class this year is headlined by some great defenders. With the trio of Baylor guards, Marcus Garrett, and Ayo Dosumnu. With that amount of guards, it would be easy to have Suggs name exit the shuffle. However, in one of the biggest games of the CBB season up to this point, the freshman and former Top 10 recruit shined.

His offensive play has been good and showcased that against Kansas. However, his defense here is what could possibly be more impressive.

The three aspects of being a great guard in the NBA is defense, scoring, and passing. Suggs did all three, headlined by this play with his pass.

The future of Suggs and his draft stock took a massive rise on Saturday. With a team full of weapons, it’s an embarrassment of riches to have a true freshman step in and play like that. There are four players on this team that are capable of having a performance like that. Suggs might have the highest ceiling out of them and all this performance sure helps his case.
