Auburn Tigers

Even without five-star freshman guard Sharife Cooper, the Tigers’ young roster has been surprisingly respectable so far this season. Sophomore forward Jaylin Williams is getting some future NBA Draft attention, while freshman JT Thor has started most of the games. They’ll be getting five-star and one and done prospect Jabari Smith for the year after, along with four-star 2022 center Sage Tolentino.

Auburn seems to have a fair amount of frontcourt depth for the future but the odds are possible that both Smith and Williams could be gone by then. That gives Traore legit hope of playing time out the gate and with the program serving their postseason ban right now, there shouldn’t be any off the court issues for the recruit for the 2022-23 season.

Florida Gators

When it comes to the roster’s true frontcourt players, there’s only transfer Colin Castleton and sophomore Omar Payne. So there will be a big need for a frontcourt addition in the next couple of classes, mainly one with an offensive game.

Traore will be a different look for the Gators, mainly due to his ability to spread the floor at the 4/5 positions. Florida’s offense has looked much better so far this season thanks to the spreading of the frontcourt players and could look more appealing for versatile players such as Traore.
