It’s the Gonzaga Bulldogs vs. everybody else

The Gonzaga Bulldogs are the No. 1 team in the AP Poll and remain unbeaten at 10-0 on the season and 1-0 in West Coast Conference play following an 85-62 victory over the San Francisco Dons on Saturday night.

With the New Year ringing in, it seems Gonzaga is the heavy favorite to win the National Championship in 2020-21. The Bulldogs have been overwhelming all season long while producing 95.1 points per game as a team and they’re a well-oiled machine on the offensive end with experience on all levels.

They’re led by senior wing Corey Kispert‘s 21.9 points per contest. He’s also shooting 50.8 percent from behind the arc and 63.4 percent from the field. Senior forward Drew Timme is producing 18.4 points and 7.3 rebounds per contest.

Junior guard Joel Ayayi is producing 12.2 points, 8.0 rebounds, 3.1 assists, and 1.4 steals per game. Freshman guard Jalen Suggs is producing 13.9 points, 5.5 rebounds, 5.4 assists, and 2.4 steals per game through his first eight games.

Florida transfer Andrew Nembhard is posting 9.8 points, 4.7 assists, 3.3 rebounds, and 1.1 steals per contest off the bench. With four wins against AP ranked opponents and just the WCC schedule ahead of them, it’s hard to see them losing another game before March arrives. Let’s see how things go this next week.
