Second-half offense showed much more energy

Baylor has a luxury when it comes to the amount of talent. Even with the majority of the team isn’t playing well, they will be in any game against just about any team. The Bears improved drastically in the second half, shooting fewer three-pointers and focusing more on forcing fouls and turnovers.

After shooting one of 10 in the first half, Baylor only took four three-pointers in the second half. There were fewer empty possessions and fewer turnovers. The Bears also calmed down from beyond the arc and was much more efficient.

Baylor finished 58 percent from the field in the second half and a respectable 45 percent for the game. Having confidence in your shot late in the game is so crucial. Especially in a conference game on the road. Butler showed little hesitation on this deep range shot.
